What is the difference between those and the difference in the effects?

Stick Foundation- is like concealor or "mousse", creamy and spreadable. Full yet adjustable coverage. Not great for oily skin, unless you get a good brand. Covers well. can put on face directly.
Liquid- Runny, hard to find a good one. Makes the mask effect appear, but is O.K. for dry skin. It will run off if you sweat or have oily skin.
Loose powder/foundation- Comes in a pot, generally good for all skin types. Foundation is buildable coverage, powder ALONE just sets the makeup in place. Buff or swirl on.
Pressed Powder/foundation- virtually no mess. coverage like loose powder but you dont swirl/buff it on, you smear it on.
There are also sprays wich you spray on a sponge then rub on face. I love this stuff, and it has light to medium coverage.
There are also pump bottles that are also amazing. same applications as sprays.
GOOD LUCK!
