Bare Minerals Foundation or Mac Studio Fix Liquid Foundation?
So I’m sixteen and I use foundation daily. I’m a former user of both foundations and I’m kinda stuck on which one I should buy again.

My Bare Mineral Foundation Experience;
It feels like I’m not wearing any foundation and it allows my skin to breathe. My breakouts started to clear up. However, on rainy days it’s looks really dry and gross. This was also before I even knew what a face primer was. And before I had good makeup brushes.

As for Mac Studio Fix Liquid Foundation it has great coverage. It’s faster to apply. I think liquid last better in the rain. However, I think it’s really heavy and probably even worse for my breakouts. Sometimes it starts to look cakey throughout the day. I do prefer liquid foundation over minerals though.

So I’m stuck between the two. Do you think the reason the Bare Minerals didn’t work as well because I didn’t use a face primer?

Do you use primer under just liquid foundation? Or should it also be used under powders and minerals?

I don’t really use liquid foundation too often, so I’m not sure.

Also… do primers break you out?

I am currently using bare minerals foundation but I like to change it up and I was wondering if it is worth it to switch to a liquid foundation?

So I plan to get bare minerals (how old do you think you should be to use them? is it more for older women or teens too?) but need a liquid foundation for it (or do you think it needs one at all?). Any suggestions?
